made during Science and Liberal Arts course in Semester 7, guided by Himanshu Desai.
Exponential Increase is a video art piece that delves into consumerist culture.
I was inspired to create this video during the thrift sale that happened at the time in college. It made me aware of the amount of storage that was being used by clothes that served no purpose. The sound and repetition is used to give an overwhelming feeling.
And as a reminder for people to be mindful about their consumption behaviors while showing the impact that it can have on us.
